First Quarter Summary:
Tip to ST. Drive to the hoop by Ben Dupree - shot no good. SH shot no good. ST shot doesn't fall. Gregory Edwards stuffs a SH shot. Ryan Hill picks up a foul. Matt Jones for two to open the scoring. Josh Proctor answers with two. ST misses. SH misses - rebound ST. ST misses. SH misses - both teams cold. ST shot rejected - pushing and shoving under the basket - order restored. Matt Jones up and in for two. No conversion by SH. Akeem Wilson fouled while shooting - at the line - makes one of two. Josh Proctor driving and spinning in the paint - in for two. Wilson nice O-rebound and put back slam to put the Indians ahead 7-4. Proctor O-rebound - put back for 2 SH points. No ST answer. Ryan Hill makes a basket - fouled - misses the freebie - Jeff Davis rebounds - up and in for two. Tajh Turner hits a big three. Proctor comes back and scores two, Timeout ST with 1:14 to go - score is SH 12 ST 10. Jones sjot blocked by Proctor. Turner picks up a foul. Hill drives it through the paint for two. Second Quarter Summary:
SH inbounds the ball - Proctor from 3 pt land - no good - O rebound by Jeff Davis - put back for two. Ben Dupree answers back with a long ball - 3 more for ST. The big guy Lloyd Hill scores two from undernaeth. Gregory Edwards scores two. SH misses - ST misses. Hill from downtown - short. ST misses. SH loses the ball out of bounds. Drive by ST - rejected by Proctor. ST throws it out of bounds. Hill drives through traffic - lays it in for two Roller points. Matt Jones fouled by Hill - at the line - all net - and all net - score two. SH throws it away - ST loses it back - SH misses. Long ball by Turner - off the mark. Lance Chisholm lays one up for two Roller points. Matt Jones hits a long ball for the Indians. Ryan Hill right back for three Roller points. Rebound by Proctor - lay up by Ryan Hill. ST can't get the shots to fall - Ryan Hill hits for two at the other end - SH now up by 9. Misses at both ends. Jordan Shields in close for two more Roller points. Akeem Wilson closes out the half with a jumper for two. Score at the break Steelton Highspire 31, Susquehanna Township 22.
Third Quarter Summary:
Ball inbounded by ST - shot misses. Steal by Matt Jones - steps out of bounds. Proctor takes the pass inside - up and in for two Roller points. Bid D by the Rollers underneath. Davis with a big O-rebound - can't convert. Matt Jones - O-rebound - put back for two. Jones picks up a foul. Proctor inside - fouled by Jones - his third - ST calls timeout - with 5:16 left - score SH 33, ST 24. Proctor at the line - makes the second shot. Tajh Turner with the nice drive inside for two. Jordan Shields hits for three Roller points. Timeout Rollers - 3:52 left - SH up 37-26. Proctor takes the pass in the lane - in for two. ST misses - Jordan Shields with a long ball - good for 3. Tajh Turner makes a basket and is fouled - adds the freebie. SH throws it away. Tajh Turner drives the lane - puts it in for two - draws afoul - will head to the line - timeout called - 2:16 left - SH up by 11. Turner drains the freebie. Proctor open at the head of the paint - J for two. No ST answer. Proctor hits from way out - give the Rollers 3 more - Proctor now has 18 points to lead the field. Jeff Davis with a big O-rebound - put back for 2. Buzzer sounds - Steelton Highspire 49, Susquehanna Township 34 at the end of three.
Fourth Quarter Summary:
ST inbounds the ball - misses the shot. Proctor at the other end - open underneath - tries to slam - shot no good. Ben Dupree drives the baseline - good for two Indian points. Jeff Davis taps one back in for two Roller points. Matt Jones at the line for ST - makes one - makes two. Jones picks up his 4th foul. Lloyd Hill powers up from underneath - gets the basket - draws the foul - adds the extra point to complete the 3 point play. Nice passing underneath for the Indians - Dupree scores and draws the foul - misses the free throw. Greg Edwards goes to the line for the Indians for the one and one - misses. Timeout Rollers with 4:26 left - score SH 54 ST 40. Indians steal it - B.J. Smith takes it all the way home for two. Lance Chisholm scores a bucket for the Rollers. B.J. Smith fouled - at the line - rolls one in - bounces the second one in. Outlet pass to Proctor from Lloyd Hill - slam dunk by Proctor. SH scores another bucket - timeout with 3:18 left - SH 60, ST 44. Steal by the Rollers - can't convert - Matt Jones rebounds - Akeem Wilson jumper for two. Nice block by Wilson at the other end. Lloyd Hill fouled underneath while shooting - sinks the 1st free throw bounces the second one in. Jordan Shields open under the basket - lays it in for two. Timeout with 1:20 remaining - SH up by 18. Aaron Maisel drains a two ball for the Indians. Jeff Davis fouled - makes one of two. Rotimi Ekwe battles underneath and puts it up for two. Maisel adds two more ST points. Timeout - 16 seconds left - lead is now 13. Final buzzer sounds.
Steelton Highspire wins it convincingly 65-52 behind a strong performance by senior Josh Proctor.
