Third Quarter Summary

ML ball. Maurice Nelson steals for Chester. Out of bounds - ML ball. ML misses shots. Nelson rebounds, drives and is fouled. Misses both free throws. Evan Eaton scores 2 for ML. Chester shot misses, Richard Grandberry rebounds and is fouled, will go to the line. Misses first. Makes second. Hagy scores 2 underneath. Church with a put back for 2. TO - Chester leads by 2, 37-35. ML ball. Turnover. Hensler fouls. Wright shots and scores 2. White is fouled and will shoot 2. Misses the first, and the second. Walker rebounds for Chester. Walker takes it to the other end and is called for a charge. TO with 4:56 to go in the third, 39-35 Chester. Wright fouls. Nelson steals and drives through the lane but is fouled by Hagy. Nelson shoots 2 and makes 2. Steal by Church for Chester who dumps it to Wright. Write scores a reverse lay up and ML calls a TO with Chester ahead 43-35. Roth drains a 3 for ML. Chester can't score. Hagy is fouled and makes 1 of 2 free throws. Hagy fouls. Church is on the line. He misses the first, makes the second. Church tries to steal but fouls near half court. 3 point attempt no good for ML, Lang rebounds and scores 2. Roth steals, passes to Eaton who makes the bucket and is fouled on the way up. He makes the free throw to tie the game 44 all. Chester misses. ML has the momentum. Ball out of bounds, goes to Chester. Hagy steals and Nelson is called for a controversial foul. Jefferson rebounds Nelson's shot and is fouled. He goes to the line for 2. Makes the first shot, misses the second. Rebound Roth. ML misses, Butler rebounds. Chester can't convert. Lang gets the ball and dunks it to give ML the lead 46-45. 2 late shots by Chester are no good. Quarter ends 46-45 with the momentum going to ML.

Fourth Quarter Summary

Chester inbounds the ball to start the last quarter. Church is fouled and goes to the line for 1-1. Makes the first and the second. Lang scores 2. Wright is fouled and goes to the line, misses the first but makes the second to tie the game at 48. Church steals and takes it to the other end for a dunk!. Lang scores 2. Chester misses a shot. ML steps out of bounds - Chester ball. White fouls Walker who goes to the line. He makes the first and misses the second. TO ML with 4:59 left, Chester ahead 51-50. ML misses. Write powers underneath for 2. Roth shoots a long shot that goes in and out, rebound Chester. Chester throws it out of bounds. TO called with 3:53 to go, 53-50 Chester. ML inbounds. Lang scores 2. Walker returns witha jumper for 2. ML turns it over out of bounds. Chester misses, ML rebounds and is called for a traveling violation. Ball back to chester who is ahead by 3 with 2 minutes to go. They miss, ML rebounds. Lang misses inside. Chester can't score. Roth rebounds for ML. TO called by ML at 1:29 mark, 55-52 ML is behind. Roth drains a 3 to tie the game with a minute to go! Chester calls a TO. Chester ball. Can't score. rebound lang. Steal by Church who passes to Nelson who takes it to the hoop for 2. Hagy shoots, shot is block. Eaton recovered and is fouled, will go to the line for 1-1 for a chance to tie the game with 20 seconds to play. He makes the first. He makes the second. Tie game at 57 all. Church shoots but is called for a charge. ML ball with 13 seconds left. TO called by ML. ML inbounds but is called for an inbounds violation and the ball goes to Chester under their own hoop. Church shoots and its in and out. Buzzer sounds and at the end of regulation the game is tied 57-57.

Overtime

Chester gets the tip. Called for back court violation. ML ball. Jump ball, ML possession. Shot by Eaton is blocked. Chester misses. Lang rebounds. Hagy misses Jefferson rebounds. Hensler gets his fifth foul and leaves the game. Walker shoots two for Chester, misses the first one, and misses the second. Rebound ML. Hagy is fouled, shoots 2. Makes first. Misses second. Jefferson rebounds. Church rebounds the shot, puts it back up and scores 2. He is fouled in the process and goes to the line for 1. He makes it to put Chester ahead 60-58. ML is called for a travel violation. Ball back to Chester. TO called by Chester with 2 minutes to play. White fouls Church. He misses the first. Makes the second to put Chester ahead by 3. ML misses a 3 pointer. Write takes it to the other end for 2. Ml misses, Chester rebounds. Church puts it back for 2. Jefferson steals and takes it back for 2 more. Chester crowd goes crazy!
